Unit Three: Final Major Project
The work from Unit 1 and 2 had lead me into an investigation of depth and perspective. I wanted to see if I could create a deeper understanding of content if the viewer has a chance to physically interact with the form in order to decipher it… or whether they would be able to decipher it at all.
This involved creating an output, which used multipoint perspective to incite user interaction. Comprised of foam letters suspended from the ceiling it is a mixture of diminution and an anamorphic type construction.
I used a quote by Henry David Thoreau to illustrate my method. “It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see”
