I heart Wes Anderson
I found this incredibly accurate representation of a Wes Anderson movie trailer over at Vimeo. Created by Alex Cornel and Philip Mills as an advertisement for a hypothetical Wes Anderson Film Festival. Very clever!
I do love the romantic way Anderson captures what would otherwise be mundane shots with cute angles, and especially the way he punctuated The Royal Tenenbaums “chapters” with the scene descriptions. As shown in the screen captures below.
I heart the music, the costumes, the set and the quality of the film.
P.S. Wes Anderson just happens to be my most favourite director, The Royal Tenenbaums and The Darjeeling Ltd being my all time favourite movies, 1st and 2nd respectively. I highly recommend you watch them both, if you haven’t already, and if you have then watch then again! ^_^

this was fun! BTW, those are my all time favorite movies too, in the same order…

Thanks Laura!
Yeah they are great movies, I can never accurately describe what it is exactly about them that makes them so good… I usually just end up saying “everything”!
