Why this kind of Tit of course!…

I have just had the most amazing news!!

Barclays have changed their policy on how a person can apply for a Career Development Loans!! *This is good news*

Before you either have 2 choices…

You have to already have had a Barclays account (of any kind) for 3 months previous to applying for a CDL or you have to apply through Learn Direct, which as I’m not a Barclays customer is my only choice, and it’s taking ages.

But now they have made it so you don;t have to have had an account for 3 months, you only have to *have* an account and provide 3 months of bank statements from your other current account with a different bank. Winner!

I mean the statements are still a problem, as that’s what I’m waiting for with the other application process, but again this is much easier as Barclays will accept the printed out versions you can get from your bank… whereas applying through post you can only supply the official ones that you have to pre-order.

I AM SO RELIEVED! I could have my loan by Friday!!
