Today I realised I am about to hit a humongous brick wall.

With my loan forms filled in, sat right here on the desk next to me, I am just waiting for my 3 months of bank statements to be sent over from Halifax. Please note: I ORDERED THEM 6 WEEKS AGO (and have since ordered 3 more sets that also haven’t arrived) I don’t know who to be angry at, Halifax for *clearly* slacking-off sending them to me or Royal Mail for not delivering them.

Oh did I mention that those 4 sets of 3 months bank statements have been sent to 2 different addresses over the past 6 weeks? Yeah I thought I would be extra careful, just to make sure they arrived. -.- But even still, it doesn’t matter that I first asked for those statements 2 1/2 months *before* I started the course… because the whole system is failing me and I am about to miss out on my loan.

I spoke to University and they said they absolutely cannot accept me onto the course without my fees paid in full, and they won’t let me pay in more than one installment. Enrolment is 5th January, so I have 22 days to come up with £4095! My next step is scraping together the money to try and pay this myself.

Incase it wasn’t already completely obvious, I am very close to having a stress explosion, and would really appreciate if everyone had their fingers crossed that my clients pay me on time this month and start praying to the Royal Mail fairies or else I am genuinely screwed.

To be honest there is a large chance that even if the statements arrived tomorrow I still wouldn’t get the money through intime to enrol, but I don’t really feel like giving up just yet because I have been looking forward to this for months and I don’t want something as trivial as delivery times messing this up for me.
